Can I just say that I absolutely loved Atlanta? I was expecting a really fun weekend with friends, but I was not expecting to love the city! Eva picked us up from the airport Friday and we went back to her amazing high-rise apartment in Buckhead for drinks. Her views (middle photo below) are incredible.
Friday night, we had dinner at a new restaurant, King + Duke, and then went out to a really fun bar. Saturday morning, we had breakfast at Star Provisions (pictured below). This place is the just the cutest. Between the adorable bakery, spices, herbs, wine, fresh produce and shopping selection, I just loved it. It is connected to the West Side Provisions District, which is filled with cute clothes and design stores. Apparently, it’s also a favorite of Usher, who we ran into walking outside. I had no idea he is my height! I love a random celebrity sighting.
The rest of the weekend was really relaxed. We spent a lot of time by the pool and walking around the beautiful homes in Buckhead (like the The Swan House, which is an incredibly beautiful and historic estate in Atlanta).
Sunday morning aka my birthday, we had brunch in Virginia Highland’s at Murphy’s and shopped around. It was a perfect Memorial Day slash birthday weekend! I’m so thankful for such sweet friends 🙂 I have to get back to Georgia someday soon to visit Savannah and Sea Island…
